Exhibits and a short movie about the refuge, photography and wildlife observation, five-mile biking trail.

Dr. Juan A. Rivero Zoo

Features lions, tigers, elephants, monkeys, and other animals in a natural tropical setting. Exhibits include an aviary and a butterfly house.

Ermita San Antonio de Padua de La Tuna

These ruins are considered one of Isabela’s bestknown tourism sites. Free admission.

Eugenio María de Hostos Museum

Finca El Girasol

Gozalandia Waterfalls

Also known as Charca El Roble or Charca de la Leche, the site has impressive falls.

Guánica Dry Forest

This United Nations Biosphere Reserve features 11,000 acres and is inhabited by more than 600 types of plants and animals.

Los Morrillos Lighthouse

The tower is a great photo op and an excellent place to enjoy the sun and the sea breeze.

La Parguera Nature Reserve

Its valuable marine resources include coral reefs, seagrass beds, mangrove forests, and a bioluminescent bay. The Playita Rosada recreation area (open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) features the largest natural pool in the Caribbean.

Monte del Estado Ecological Park

Features campgrounds, trails, and plenty of room in which to enjoy the scenery and observe the island’s native flora and fauna.

Porta Coeli Religious Art Museum

The former convent chapel, built in 1606, is one of the oldest in the New World.

Poza Teodoro

PR446 at km 12.5, Isabela.
A beach area ideal for children to play and adults to relax. Huge rocks protect this beach “pool” from the ocean waves. From the shore, you can enjoy a superb spectacle by watching waves crashing against the rock walls

Rincón Lighthouse & Park

The tower is a great photo-op and the park is a perfect place for whale-watching. Visitors’ center.

Surf N’ Fun Water Park

The park is decorated with sea creatures and includes a giant wave pool, slides, giant interactive
games platform, tennis and beach volleyball courts, and a passive river.
